So I bought this palette in Nov 2016 and have been contemplating ever since whether I should keep it or give it to someone who might be desperate to take it (trust me many people in Dubai would just take it). Finally after six months I decided to just try it out and see whether it’s really worth the hype.
The packaging of the palette is slim and easy to travel with. Just like most of the other brands, it comes in a cardboard sort of a packaging with a mirror on the back. The palette has three different formulas: matte, frost and glitter. The pans are huge and will probably last you a lifelong. This is a 100% vegan palette and cruelty free.
The shadows are pigmented and feels like butter. They are easy to work with and blends well. I would just take little at a time and use a light hand while applying. There isn’t much fallout. The colors I used for my look were Princess, Violence, Rich Bitch, Courtney, Expensive and Black Rainbow. I wanted to try most of the colors in one go so used as many as possible. I loved working with all except Rich Bitch – the brush just wouldn’t pick up the color (and I tried few different ones). I finally used my finger and it worked great. That is the only drawback for me not being able to use a brush to apply.
The price is USD 45 but usually goes on 50% off sale during Thanksgiving. If you are not in a hurry to buy than might as well wait till it goes on sale. Though, they don’t ship directly to the UAE, it might be possible through shop and ship. Otherwise, you will need to purchase directly from one of the local vendors.
Have you tried this palette yet? What do you think?
