MAKEUP ADDICTION VINTAGE PALETTE REVIEW

I bought the Vintage palette after hearing such great reviews about it being highly pigmented with great neutral and metallic colors. I ordered it directly from their site as they were offering free worldwide shipping with the purchase of over £35. So, I bought this palette along with one of their pigments. Shipping was quite fast (reached within 6 days).

I really liked the packaging; it’s really pretty in black with a mirror and comes with the removable magnetic pans. I can arrange these in my z-palette.

I tried these on my hand for now (swatches below). I first applied MAC paint in bare canvas so I could really see the density of these colors. Please note I applied these eye shadows few times to get the color shown below. It wasn’t on the first stroke as I thought it would have been since people were raving about it being super duper pigmented.

I honestly think it’s a good palette with some great colors but not really worth the hype. The price is also not that low but considering the fact that the pans are really big in size (almost double the size of MAC), this palette will last you forever.

My top favorite colors are Amber, Cocoa lace, Velvet bronze and Moon berry. One of the biggest DRAWBACK is the fallout on these shadows is too much. I personally don’t prefer buying shades that gives me a lot of fallout unless I do the eyes first, otherwise the shadows will be all over the face.
